HURRICANE IRMA HITS FLORIDA

Hurricane Irma hits Florida, United States (US), on Saturday (9/9) midnight local time. Many residents flee and hide for evacuation.

Strong breeze struck the coast of Florida / Reuters

Reported by CNN, the storm in Category 3 and power of 195 kilometers per hour brings heavy rain and strong winds that can wipe out buildings also endanger human life.


Hurricane Irma moved slowly from the northern coast of Cuba to the Florida Strait, as the American National Hurricane (NHC) forecasts predicted.

And on Sunday (10/9) morning local time, Hurricane Irma is estimated to reach the Florida Keys and the west coast. NHC says that the storm will hit until the afternoon.

Today, the entire Florida region is on a storm warning.

The streets were deserted. The Florida government has asked 6.5 million people to evacuate to avoid casualties.

Residents packed to leave the house for safety.

Food supplies in supermarkets were sold out.

But there are also officers who monitor the waves and strong winds caused by this Irma storm.
